Air Classifier Mill

The equipment is equipped with a built-in classifier wheel, which not only ensures the production of particle size products free of coarse particles but also avoids the inherent defects of the external grinding-classification circulation system. Moreover, compared with mills using external classification circuits, the internal classification design for coarse materials enables the overall process to be more stable and consume less energy. This type of machine is usually called an ACM.

How it works

The inner cavity of the machine body is cylindrical, the upper section is an air classifier and the lower section is an ultra-fine grinding mill. The grinding chamber is composed of a grinding disc and a grinding block, which is used to crush materials into fine powder. The grading chamber is composed of a classifying impeller, which can separate fine powder into two types of particle specifications: qualified and unqualified. The qualified particles are discharged through the discharge pipe and collected by the cyclone collector. Unqualified particles will return to the grinding chamber along the inner wall of the cavity and continue shattered.

The grinding disc and classifying impeller are driven by their respective driving systems, the speed of the classifying impeller is adjustable to meet different size requirements. The spiral feeding system is located on the inner wall of the machine and is used to send materials uniformly into the grinding chamber, the amount can be adjusted by rotational speed.

Performance and features

1. It is integrated by a mechanical impact ultra-fine grinding mill and a high-efficiency turbine classifier. The crushed materials are subjected to the air flow and forced to be classified by the turbine classifier. The classifying system replaces the screen of the conventional grinding mill and can complete the two processes of micro-grinding and micro-powder classifying at the same time, with high grinding efficiency.
2. By adjusting the speed of the classifying impeller, the particle size can be adjusted without stopping the machine.
3. The powerful grinding airflow during the grinding process generates a strong cooling effect, and the temperature rise is low. It is particularly suitable for processing heat-sensitive and fibrous materials, and the particles size is uniform.
4. In response to special requirements such as materials with low specific gravity , PPM level requirements for residues in finished products, ceramic grinding components and ceramic linings, we have specially designed grinding components and classifying components, upgrading from general-purpose grinding mills to special-purpose grinding mills, thereby further improving grinding efficiency.
