This equipment can be used for large-scale grinding of almost all heat-sensitive materials such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, fibrous materials, and metal magnesium at room temperature. It can also be used for ultra-fine grinding of inorganic materials, salt, pigments, etc. At present, it has been used for ultra-fine grinding of materials within the hardness range in many industries and different fields.

How it works

A turbine mill is a piece of equipment that grinds materials using mechanical forces generated by high-speed rotating turbine components. Its core principle involves refining bulk or granular materials to the target particle size through multiple combined actions such as impact, shearing, and collision. Widely used in fields including chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and mineral processing, it is particularly suitable for materials with low to medium hardness, heat sensitivity, or brittleness (e.g., plastics, pigments, spices, and mineral powders).

Performance and features

Multi-Layer Turntable Design, Thorough and Efficient Crushing

Adopting a structure with 4~7 layers of crushing turntables, the equipment significantly extends the material grinding path and time. Materials undergo full crushing, dispersion, and depolymerization in the grinding zone, effectively improving powder uniformity and refinement effect to meet the high standards of material processing in precision manufacturing.

Multi-Dimensional Fineness Adjustment, Flexible Operation

Some models support dual fineness adjustment methods: first, by adjusting the gap between the blades and tooth plate (stator); second, by increasing or decreasing the number of classifying rods on the classifying disk. It can accurately regulate product fineness and output according to production needs, adapting to different particle size processing scenarios.

Flexible Temperature Adaptation, Diversified Functions

The operation mode can be flexibly switched based on material characteristics: introducing hot air at the air inlet enables simultaneous crushing and drying operations; for special materials with extremely low melting points, introducing cold air allows low-temperature crushing to avoid material melting or deterioration due to excessive temperature.

Linked Reflux & Classification, Real-Time Particle Size Control

Equipped with a reflux pipe and classifying disk, the equipment forms a linkage mechanism through the classification function of the classifying disk and the adjustment of reflux air flow. It can real-time control and optimize product particle size without stopping the machine, ensuring production continuity while accurately matching dynamically adjusted particle size requirements.
