The ultra-fine ring roller mill is a type of dry roller mill for ultra-fine powder production equipment. It is developed by our company through independent innovation based on the advantages and disadvantages of roller mills at home and abroad. It adopts the principle of fluid mechanics and can grind to a fineness ranging from 3-35um. It has the characteristics of good performance, high efficiency, small footprint, easy Installation, etc. The product has good particle size index and stable performance.

How it works

The ring roller mill crushes materials through the combined principles of impact, extrusion, and grinding. The grinding ring bracket is designed with a large clearance between the grinding ring and the pin shaft. As material passes through the gap between the grinding rings, it is impacted, squeezed, and ground by the rings, resulting in effective size reduction.

After crushing, the material falls under gravity onto the feed tray and is then carried by airflow into the classification chamber. Qualified fine particles are conveyed by the classifier rotor into the collection system, while coarser particles are thrown against the split ring wall and returned to the crushing chamber for re-grinding.

In the case of a double-layer grinding machine, the material undergoes secondary grinding as it passes through the gap between the second set of grinding rings, ensuring further refinement.

Multi-Layer Crushing Sub-Assembly Design for Thorough Grinding & Fine Fineness

Adopting a multi-layer distributed crushing sub-assembly structure, each layer is equipped with multiple grinding rings that crush materials through a combination of impact, rolling, and grinding—accurately meeting ultra-fine grinding process requirements. Materials pass through the gap between grinding rings and sleeves layer by layer from top to bottom, undergoing progressive crushing multiple times, resulting in thorough grinding and finer finished product fineness.

High Efficiency & Low Consumption, Significantly Enhanced Rolling Force

Compared to Raymond mills and jet mills, production efficiency increases by over 100% under the same power conditions. The rolling force of the grinding wheel on materials is enhanced by 30~40% with the support of high-pressure centrifugal force, leading to industry-leading crushing efficiency and energy utilization.

High Capacity for Large-Batch Processing

Taking calcium carbonate grinding as an example, when the finished product fineness reaches 10μm, the equipment can achieve an output of over 1 ton per hour. It effectively meets the needs of large-batch, high-precision powder processing and greatly shortens the production cycle.

Controllable Fineness with Strong Environmental Protection

The finished product’s D97 can reach 3~35μm, with fineness indicators comparable to fluidized bed jet mills. Equipped with a stepless speed regulator for the classifying impeller, particle size can be flexibly adjusted without stopping the machine. All fine powder can be fully recovered with no dust pollution, balancing process flexibility and environmental friendliness.
