Electric discharge valve is commonly known as air shut-off fan, impeller feeder, star feeder, air lock, rotary feeder, rotary valve, etc. It is composed of a rotor with several blades, a housing, a seal, a motor, a reducer, etc.

How it works

When the rotor rotates in the cylindrical housing, the material falling from the upper hopper by its own weight is filled in the space between the blades and discharged as the rotor rotates to the lower part, thereby achieving uniform and continuous material transportation. The air shut-off fan is a key equipment in the pneumatic conveying system. For positive pressure conveying systems or negative pressure conveying systems, the air shut-off fan can evenly and continuously feed the conveying pipe. The air shut-off fan is very suitable for positive and negative pressure pneumatic conveying systems, pulse dust removal equipment and precision feeding. The fan has the characteristics of compact structure, beautiful shape, good air lock, stable operation, uniform material dropping, light weight and energy saving. It can play the role of feeding and locking airflow. Due to the low-speed rotation of the rotor and the extremely small gap between the rotor and the inner cavity of the shell, the reverse flow of the airflow is effectively prevented, thereby ensuring the stability of the air pressure in the system and the normal discharge of materials.
